linqi – part of the global cybersecurity network

Bonn, 3 June 2026 – We are delighted to announce that linqi has been officially authorised by the CVE Program as a CVE Numbering Authority (CNA). This makes us one of only 25 organisations in Germany to hold this status – and the only process platform for administrative digitalisation worldwide to do so. With immediate effect, we are authorised to assign CVE numbers to vulnerabilities discovered by our staff and customers. The resulting benefit is that potential security risks can be identified more quickly, clearly named, prioritised more easily and remedied.

What CNA status means

The CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) Program is the globally recognised standard for uniformly naming and cataloguing security vulnerabilities in software. Every known vulnerability is assigned a unique CVE ID – enabling IT teams, public authorities and security officers to discuss the same issue internationally and take coordinated action.

As a CNA, linqi performs the following tasks:

  • Assigning CVE IDs for vulnerabilities in its own software, without having to go through external bodies
  • Creating and publishing the corresponding CVE entries in the global vulnerability database
  • Contributing to the overarching mission of the CVE Program: greater transparency and a uniform standard for cybersecurity worldwide

Data security that goes beyond the standard

Automating processes involves moving data – between various departments, systems and responsible parties. The requirements for confidentiality, integrity and traceability are correspondingly high. Precisely because cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, linqi places particular emphasis on cyber security and an advanced security architecture.

“As the developers of linqi, we bear a great responsibility towards our customers. Because we process information that is, in some cases, highly sensitive, we not only comply with international data protection requirements and security standards, but also do everything in our power to protect users as effectively as possible. For us, data security is the foundation of trust, says Jörg Sager, CEO of linqi.

“With our CNA status, we create transparent accountability regarding our self-defined processes, resources and the associated communication within the entire security community.”

About the CVE Program

The CVE Program is an international, collaboratively organised network of technology companies, research institutions and public authorities that uniformly catalogues publicly known cybersecurity vulnerabilities worldwide. We are delighted to be part of it. For more information, visit www.cve.org.
