Digitization is not quantum physics. At least not with linqi.
linqi helps to increase productivity in your organization by optimally digitizing and managing your processes and recurring tasks. Using linqi increases productivity within your organization and can help you to make efficient use of digitization technology and digitized processes.
General information
What are digital processes?
A digital process is a recurring workflow within your company that is managed entirely digitally—meaning without paper forms or manual handoffs (media breaks) from person to person. Here’s an example: Instead of printing out, forwarding, and filing a vacation request, everything happens in one place—the software that organizes the necessary information and files and makes them transparent to everyone involved. In short: Anything that happens repeatedly in the same way within your company is a process—and almost all of them can be digitized.
Which processes can be automated?
In principle, any process that occurs regularly in your company can be digitized—whether in HR, accounting, or across departments. Vacation requests, invoice approvals, onboarding new employees, or internal notifications: these are typical processes that companies, government agencies, and corporations worldwide are already digitizing with linqi.
A good rule of thumb: If a process occurs more than once and always involves similar steps, digitization is worth it.
Why do companies automate their processes?
Because recurring tasks that are handled manually take time and are prone to errors—and that all adds up. Whether it’s approvals that are held up because the person in charge isn’t available, forms that are filled out by hand and filed away somewhere, or reports that get lost in long email chains: Such processes exist in every company, every government agency, and every hospital—every day, in every department.
Digital processes run in a structured manner, automatically reach the right person, and are traceable by everyone involved at any time. This reduces follow-up questions, shortens processing times—and frees up time for the actual work.
What are some examples of automated processes?
The range of applications is vast. Wherever paper, emails, or manual coordination have previously dominated daily operations, linqi can provide a solution.
In business: Onboarding new employees, invoice approvals, travel expense reports, internal purchase requests, or the management of access rights.
In government agencies and public administration: procurement requests, schedule adjustments, meeting minutes, or the digital processing of citizen inquiries.
In healthcare: shift handoffs, hygiene protocols, the onboarding of nursing staff, or the documentation of quality checks.
Across departments: Approval processes, defect tracking, regular status reports, or coordination between teams.
These are just a few examples—in practice, it often turns out that simply discussing a single workflow quickly reveals other processes that could just as easily be digitized.
How can processes be automated?
With linqi, you can do this without any programming knowledge—and much faster than most people expect. New workflows can be put together using drag-and-drop: form fields, approval steps, responsibilities, automatic notifications—everything is configured with just a few clicks. Even employees without a technical background can do this, without any support from the IT department.
Here’s how it typically starts: You select a specific workflow from your daily routine, and our team of experts shows you how to map it out with linqi. Using easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions, you then implement each process yourself—many customers have their first workflow up and running within a few hours.
What's behind linqi
What does "no-code platform" mean?
A no-code platform like linqi is a software solution that can be used without any programming knowledge. Instead of writing code, you click and configure—using drag-and-drop and an interface designed to be self-explanatory.
This makes linqi a tool that can be used not only by the IT department, but by every business department—from HR to accounting to team leadership. Anyone who knows how a process works in their area can use linqi to implement it digitally themselves.
What sets linqi apart from other tools like SAP, Make, or Power Automate?
The biggest difference: linqi is an all-in-one platform. Many other tools only cover specific areas. Make or Power Automate, for example, are purely workflow engines—they connect systems but don’t offer the ability to create digital forms or fully map out processes. Anyone who wants to do that anyway has to combine multiple tools—which quickly becomes more expensive and complicated than it needs to be.
High-end solutions like SAP, on the other hand, can do a lot, but often come with high licensing costs, require specialized IT knowledge, and are simply too complex for many organizations.
linqi is the all-rounder among process platforms: comprehensive without being overloaded—and usable without any programming knowledge. What’s more: As software “made in Germany,” hosted in German data centers, linqi inherently meets European data protection requirements. Many international providers cannot guarantee this without further ado.
Can I use linqi to create forms and checklists—or can the tool do even more?
Yes—and much more. Forms and checklists are a good starting point, but they’re just one component among many. In linqi, these components are linked together: A completed form can automatically trigger an approval, forward data, or generate a document—all without any manual steps in between. This way, individual components come together to form a complete, traceable workflow.
How can I understand the concept of autonomous process automation?
Imagine explaining to a new colleague, step by step, how a specific process works in your company—who does what, in what order, and what happens next. That’s exactly what you do with linqi, just once and digitally. After that, the process runs on its own: the right people are notified, information ends up where it belongs, and every step is documented.
There’s no need to involve the IT department. You know your processes—linqi gives you the tools to implement them yourself.
Can linqi integrate different software solutions and interfaces?
Yes. linqi can be integrated into existing system environments, so you don’t have to start from scratch or overhaul your entire IT infrastructure.
Familiar tools like Excel or SharePoint can be integrated just as easily as more complex systems—such as ERP, CRM, or DMS solutions. Direct database connections to PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL, as well as integrations via API interfaces and webhooks, are also possible.
And if an interface you need isn’t available yet: Contact us—we’ll work together to see what can be implemented.
How can you automate processes in Excel or Outlook?
Excel and Outlook are everyday tools in many companies—and that’s exactly where linqi’s advantage lies. Instead of manually updating spreadsheets, copying data from one place to another, or chasing approvals via email, linqi puts you in control: information flows automatically into the right fields, the right people are notified, and results are documented directly.
Excel and Outlook remain useful where they make sense—linqi ensures that the work before and after becomes more efficient.
How to get started with linqi
When is the right time to start using linqi?
Now—but we’re not saying this because we want to win you over as a customer as quickly as possible, but because every day without digitized processes costs time that would be better spent elsewhere. How often do we hear: “If only we’d known sooner how easy this is.”
So there’s never a wrong time. But the longer manual processes dominate your daily routine, the longer it takes before the time you save can be put to use elsewhere.
What steps should I take if I want to automate a process?
First, consider the following: What steps are involved, in what order do they occur, who is responsible for each step, and what is required to complete them? Once you’ve mapped this out, you can directly replicate the workflow in linqi—using a simple logic: When step A occurs, step B follows, and this requires C. In this way, a simple step-by-step process description is transformed into a fully functional automation.
What does the typical onboarding process with linqi look like?
Once you’ve chosen linqi, we won’t leave you on your own. The onboarding process typically consists of up to three sessions, during which you and your team will be guided through the most important features—step by step—so you can get started right away.
In the first session, we’ll work together to identify the best workflow to start with and set it up. In the second session, we’ll delve deeper into the features relevant to your specific processes. The third session is dedicated to answering any remaining questions and ensuring that you and your team can continue working confidently and independently.
In addition, comprehensive online help is available to you at any time. And we’re still here to help afterward—though most of our customers quickly learn to automate their processes on their own.
How long does it take to automate a process?
Automating a process with linqi can be done very quickly, often within a few hours to a few days. Simple workflows can even be automated in under 30 minutes to an hour. Thanks to no-code technology, there’s no need for lengthy programming, which allows for a quick start.
What is included in the scope of services—just the software, or does it also include support and consulting?
The focus is on the software—and that’s by design. After all, the people who work with these processes every day know best what works for them and how.
But that doesn’t mean you’re on your own. Our team of experts is always here to support you—whether you’re getting started, have specific questions about the application, or want to set up a new process. What we provide is a platform that empowers you to take control of your processes—with a helping hand in the background whenever you need it.

What is the difference between an AI solution and linqi?
AI needs to be orchestrated—and that’s exactly what linqi does. But what does that mean in practice?
The idea behind pure AI solutions sounds appealing: intelligent systems analyze data, make decisions, and automate processes without any rigid rules. In practice, however, this often proves to be much more complex—and risky. That’s because AI works with probabilities, not certainties. Depending on the context, the error rate ranges from 5% to 30%. In business-critical processes, that’s a risk most companies can’t afford.
linqi relies on clear, rule-based processes—you define what happens when, who is responsible, and what needs to be checked. That doesn’t mean AI has no place in your processes—on the contrary. linqi integrates AI where it truly helps—for example, to automatically recognize and categorize incoming texts, or to summarize the current status of a process. The AI operates within a set of rules that you define. GDPR-compliant, hosted on German servers, at no extra cost.
Your question remained unanswered?
Just as linqi can be customized in all areas, your questions can be just as individual. Please contact us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you further and can discuss your company's recurring processes in a live demo!
