Import values – take over data from other process runs

Many processes do not start from zero: a follow-up application builds on the original application, a reclaim on the original payment, a re-examination on the first result. Instead of entering all values again, linqi imports them: with the “Import values” panel, you take over the field values of another process run directly into the current form. You enter the process number of the source process – also only a part of it –, linqi shows the matching processes, and you choose the concrete run and step from which the values should come. The receiving fields fill up automatically, the rest remains as usual.

The selection is deliberately structured there: first the process number, then the matching process – only those are displayed whose forms match your current form – and finally the process step. Several steps can appear if the form was passed through multiple times in the selected process; you then choose exactly the pass from which the values should come. This keeps the import traceable: it is clear from which run which values were taken over, and you avoid typos and double maintenance without having to feed the current process run with data manually.

Or in short:Import field values from another process run – via process number, run and step, taken over automatically.

Process number as entry

You enter the number of the source process – also only a part – and linqi lists the matching processes.

Precise selection

Only processes with a matching form are displayed; you choose the run and step from which the values come.

Automatic take-over

The fields fill up with the chosen values – no manual copying, no typos.

The follow-up application that does not start from zero

Typical cases for the value import are follow-up processes: a re-examination that should take over the initial state, a payment that builds on a previous run, an escalation that needs the relevant data of the case. In all these cases, the source process is already documented – its values exist, only in the other run. linqi connects both runs via the value import: you reference the process number, choose the matching run and step, and the fields of your form are filled with the chosen values. The current process run then starts like any other – only without the manual transfer. This saves time, avoids double maintenance, and keeps data quality high, because the taken-over values are taken over exactly as they stand in the source run.
