Dark theme – linqi adapts to your eyes
Some people work focused in bright offices, others sit in front of linqi in the evening or in dim rooms – and a bright white screen is pure strain in that situation. With the linqi dark theme you switch to a dark color scheme with one click: backgrounds, surfaces and text are matched to each other, the contrasts remain readable, and your eyes no longer have to readjust between light and dark areas. The choice is a personal setting: each user decides which theme they use in linqi – without any change to the functionality.
The choice is deliberately kept simple: light or dark. Save your choice in the personal settings and it applies automatically at every start. If you leave it open, linqi simply takes over the system setting of your operating system – if your Windows already uses the dark scheme, linqi consistently appears in the dark theme. In addition, linqi respects the forced colors of Windows: if you have activated high contrast for your screen, the system behavior applies so that linqi remains readable for you.
A theme that works in the background
The dark theme is not an add-on but part of the application: both color schemes run through the entire surface – from the start page through the process designer to dashboards and forms – and provide carefully set, consistent color values. You are therefore not switching between two different versions of linqi, but between two adjustments of the same application. The theme remains pure presentation: processes, permissions, content and settings are identical. Anyone who wants to switch between light and dark – for example depending on the time of day or the room – changes the personal setting and simply continues to work as before.
Frequently asked questions about the dark theme
Where do I change the theme?
In the personal settings of your user account – the choice is stored for you and applies at every further start.
Does the theme apply to all users?
No, the choice is personal: each user uses the color scheme they selected themselves – teams can mix freely.
What happens if I make no choice?
linqi then takes over your operating system’s setting – if your computer uses the dark scheme, linqi automatically appears in the dark theme.
Does linqi respect Windows high contrast?
Yes. If forced colors are active on your screen, linqi takes that into account so the surface remains readable for you.
